One of the best known US LRL manufacturers took with him an assortment of locators for testing on a recent expedition. Some of them are shown in the photo. The R-T Rodette is visible in the bottom right. It performed well and held it's lock longer than other more expensive models. This was despite the fact it is the lowest-priced model available. The Examiner is even better and features auto-tune, the Rodette manual. The photo represents the most famous locators since the form began in the mid-80s. Under the Rodette can be seen a Rangertell Goldscrew and two special R-T tunable rods.
You have a rock-solid 7 day trial period with a no questions
asked full refund if you are not completely satisfied with your new
Examiner.
The Examiner has discovered thousands of tons of gold and
precious metals - There are hundreds in use world wide.
This Long Range Indication Tool Is Solid Gold!
Really the most interesting and solid performer in the LRL field. Not to mention the lowest priced and lightest. It's out of this world this little genius and will really make you think about many things...

Following the great
success of the Ranger-Tell Examiner Long Range Locator,
a new racy upgrade has
January 20 2004--I feel like Bill Gates must have felt
announcing the first home computer here. The Ex
aminer 'Targette-Garvin' or T-G model is as
knowledgeable as it's predecessor plus it features
world's first smart options setting.
This means primarily the detectorist can decide for
himself how big an area he wants to search in and how
far down. Anything outside this box will be disregarded
by the handheld locator. This box could be feet or miles
in size. Rest easy that if there is an iron obstacle
somewhere you can skirt it.
The T-G can tell you how far away your target is, worth
$1000 right there, and how deep. Depth is vitally
important since the range is so impressive, you need to
draw the line somewhere . Otherwise you will be digging
for a hit 300 feet down. It's just not practical. Also
users who insist on having their metal detector as a
backup will be pleased to know it's possible to choose
the range of the detector you have and detect only that
which you can verify with your beep machine.
As well, here's a wonder! The smart options allow the
vital statistics of the target to be detected and
chosen. So if you get a hit within your chosen box and
want to know what it is, the T-G will let you know what
shape, weight and size it is. This will tell you right
away whether it's a coin, ring, nugget or cache. If you
choose coins at 3 feet under in a 200 by 200 feet area ,
gold only and no smaller than 12 gm and 1.5 cm round
...you are set in more ways than one. You will see where
they are like an x-ray into the ground. All this occurs
within a minute. If anything of value lies in the area
of detection set the antenna will drag on it
immediately. You follow it out and when the aerial turns
round, you are standing above the target. And what do
you know...exactly the distance you entered in feet or
metres. And it's not dowsing per se. They can prove to
you it isn't. It's based on frequency resonance, like a
radio circuit basically.
The range is the tastiest morsel by far. You can detect
gold, silver, metals, gems, treasure, US notes, diamonds
and many other materials like oil and glass from, wait
for it.. hundreds of feet to miles on deposits! Yes, the
Examiner Targette-Garvin is almost too good to be true.
But about 200 plus happy Examiner owners can't be wrong
and so far, smiles all round. Understandably. It's the
lowest-priced Long Range Remote Sensor of it's kind
($799USD) in the world offering more features than
you'll find on a $10,000 unit with more hype and
psychology than practicality. The original Examiner may
have raised a few eyebrows with it's essential Warhol
looks but the T-G leaves no doubt whatsoever you have a
masterpiece in your hot and sweaty.

I found the Examiner T-G as important to my locating as
Windows 95 was after DOS. It puts the skeptics to shame.
Now I don't have to walk 900 feet to dig a coin at 5
feet. The T-G will tell me it's 900 feet away at 5 feet.
I can give it a miss right away and stick with items of
more size and quality closer by and within digging ease.
That's if I haven't already set it to tell me what is in
an area a mile by a mile square to 1 foot. How long
would it take a metal detector to screen the area?
Weeks, months even years!
The Examiner 'Targette-Garvin' did this for me in a
minute and a half. I thought the Examiner was good. Now
that is really saying something and why I think this
particular long-ranger will eclipse all others and make
everyone well again. Which is true also when you
consider the only arthritis or sprain you're going to
get with a locator you don't even know is in your hand
it's that light... is counting your bullion finds at
home. I carried this for a whole weekend at the same
time as a backpack and shovels and that has got to be
the ultimate winner in the detecting handbook.

An added note... Users are often amused by the scientific
calculator attached to the unit. It is a breakthrough only
Ranger-Tell has developed. The Ofki© (Omni Field Key
Interpreter) concept which uses our unique diode system is
connected via induction to the main circuitry inside the control
box and outperforms units that are five times more expensive. Our
competitors use bulky oscillation principles with too many
expensive bells and whistles. Our techs deserve a science prize for
this original concept. You can even choose feet or meters, miles or
kilometers by pressing two keys.
